Capt. Dave “Mad Snooker” Pomerleau will co-host the event

It has been several months since the last Capt. Mel Fishing Conversation took place. During the intervening period, many who had enjoyed the entertaining and learning experience constantly lobbied my sponsors and me personally for a return of this very popular instructive series. Now the wait is over. Fish Tail Willy's is hosting Captain Mel of 970-WFLA in the Mermaid Lounge on tonight, starting at 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

The "Fishing Conversation" is a two hour event built around the format of Captain Mel's popular weekly radio show. A fun, interactive experience for all attendees, the event features Captain Mel and Captain Dave Pomerleau, "The Mad Snooker", one of the genuine snook fishing experts, sharing some of his unique tactics for finding and catching snook.

There will be prizes, contests, and giveaways-- including a night snooking adventure with the "Mad Snooker" himself  --- plus a tackle prize from Fishing Supply liquidators in the Oldsmar Flea Market that includes an ultra-smooth Okuma reel mounted on a matching 7 ft Okuma rod with all Fugi guides and reel seats. Fish Tail Willy's is awarding a 36 " fiberglass Snook mount fish, a $360 value. All attendees will receive a 12 Fathom tackle pack with an assortment of 12 Fathom lures.

Those who call ahead and make a reservation will receive 1/2 off an appetizer with the purchase of an entree.

Seating is limited and admission is free.

You don't want to miss this event!

RSVP by Monday October 12th (727) 791-4270Remember, it’s all happening 7 to 9 PM on Tuesday, October 13th at the Fish Tail Willy’s Ocean Grill Restaurant at 2543 Countryside Boulevard in Clearwater. Hope to see you then!
