It took a few days for things to get back to normal after our week of windy weather. Water clarity was our biggest issue the first few days back to work. We found muddy conditions all the way out past 105 feet. Bottom fishing didn’t seem to be affected. We got decent red groupers in 110 feet by employing dead baits at the bottom. We also targeted sharks for a few days in 40 feet due to dirty water. When the water gets muddy, visibility is poor. This is a good time to pull out shark tackle. We caught a big supply of large sharks the past week, more than 20 just on Saturday. All were large spinner sharks weighing well over 100 pounds. We also landed a few hammerheads. Water clarity started to improve about three days ago, and kingfishing began to pick up.
