Tips & Techniques: Bristol Knot Tutorial

The bristol knot (also called noname knot) is relatively simple to tie and results in a very streamlined connection between a double line and leader. The knot facilitates passing through guides and over rollers. Esentially a jam knot, the bristol is a highly effective knot for attaching super-braid (spectra) double line to your leader.
