Our Fish Picture of the Week!
Hey CapMel,
Caught this beautiful 39 inch Red last week at Cedar Key off the shore using spinning gear with a dead fish bait. I had a rod out for shark while I actively fished for other species and that's what I thought I had hooked when my rod tip started to bend and line came tearing off my reel. My jaw dropped when I got it to the surface as I have never caught a redfish before. To catch such a beauty made the day very special... To top off an excellent day I landed a 30lb Black drum also.
Regards,
Dave Holley. Brooksville, FL | The fall breeder redfish run is one of the events to which all Florida anglers look forward. Congratulations to Dave. As his prize, Dave receives a "Capt. Mel MirrOlure assortment" of some of the most productive, fish-catching plugs to share. | Click Here
