Our Fish Picture of the Week!

Capt. Mel – Thanks for the awesome site!!

On Sunday (03/02/08) my brother and I decided to fish for Bass in his fresh water lake instead of heading out in the salt water for some reds; boy did it ever pay off! We used our kayaks slowly trolling around the outside edge while using a variety of Culprit worms, but the one that landed this 7 ¼ pound bass was a 7.5” Fire & Ice Culprit worm on a sunny afternoon.

Once I got her close, I knew she was a good one and our friends’ house was only 3 more docks down. I pulled out my stringer and called Kevin telling him to bring his scale out. Once weighed and other picture for keeps sake, I let her go for another to catch!

Thanks for all you guys do!

Cliff McCants
