Our Fish Picture of the Week! Hey Capt Mel!
How's it going?
Here is a picture of a 27 pound Mutton Snapper that I caught St. Marrten Island in the Eastern Caribbean on April 23, 2009. We were in 120 feet of Clear Blue Water. I had a live baitfish freelined with a steel leader. I had caught the baitfish just before that using some dead bait that they had chunked up. I guess he made his way back to the bottom. It took about 15 minutes to get him to the top. It looks a barracuda took a swipe at him as you can see down by his tail on the way up.
