Hi Captain Mel,

Let me begin by saying I enjoy your website and appreciate all of the resources you provide to all of the Tampa Bay anglers. I am a avid browser and also a contributor to your forums section under the alias "fishwhistle".

A little about the catch:
We landed this 40+ pound grouper on my first trip (chartered) to the middle grounds. It was caught using a live "B-liner" rigged to an electric reel. It was so heavy it blew the fuse in the electric reel! Luckily enough the captain was quick to get to the throttle to tug it out of its hole.
It made one heck of a sandwich!
