Indian River Lagoon Coast Fishing Report, October 10, 2016

Well if you were wondering, we dodged another bullet as Hurricane Matthew paid us a visit this past week on Florida’s Space Coast.  Although some damage and extensive rainfall was experienced, this summer squall could have been much worst. On both the lagoon and the St Johns River water levels are elevated and floating debris is scattered throughout, so boaters should operate with caution.

As you may expect, very little fishing was experienced this past week due to hurricane preparation and clean up. We have also experienced elevated wind speeds, but as the weather settles down and fishing conditions improve, so will the fishing.
